Harry J. “Jack” Moors, 85, of Lincoln, passed away October 15, 2017. Born June 17, 1932 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Harry F. and Verna R. (Jackson) Moors. Ret. Banker and Lobbyist. U. S. Air Force Korean War Veteran. Graduate of Saint Olaf College where he was president of Phi Gamma Rho fraternity. He earned his advance degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Banking. Married to Helen Lommen on June 13, 1954 in Austin, MN.

Jack was a member of Southwood Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge, Sesostris Shrine, Royal Order of Jesters, One Earred Elephants, Shepherds Foundation, Nebraska Water Quality Foundation, Tabitha Foundation, served on the Saint Elizabeth Hospital Board and various other bank boards. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, Nebraska football and a Packer’s fan.

Family members include his wife of 63 years, Helen; son, Dean (Brenda) Moors, Hastings, Mark (Marianne) Moors, Northfield, MN; daughter, Susan (Jerry) Regelean, Lincoln; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred (Judee) Moors, Lakeville, MN; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Marjorie and Catherine, infant son, Steven Paul Moors.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday (10-20-17) Southwood Lutheran Church, 4301 Wilderness Hills Blvd. with Pastor Greg Olson officiating.

Memorials to: JDRF Lincoln or Southwood Lutheran Church.

A Life Gathering Celebration will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
