Harold R. Cosper

Harold R. Cosper, 95, Lincoln, passed away July 27, 2017. Born November 5, 1921 in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Jerusa Leona (Carter) Cosper. WWII U. S. Army Air Corp Veteran where he served in France. Harold attended Colorado State where he did his undergraduate work and received his Ph.D, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Agricultural Economy.

He married Mary Luan Lorensen on December 11, 1953 in Maryville, Missouri. Harold worked for the USDA for 40+ years. He was an avid Husker football fan, enjoyed fishing in Canada, making trips for over 30 years, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family members include his wife, Mary; daughter, Sara (Dennis) Miller, Lincoln; grandchildren, Mark (Wendy) Koziol, Wichita, KS and their children, Nolan and Payton, Natalie Koziol (Austin Menzel), Lincoln, and their son, Cooper, and Aaron Mack, Kansas City, MO. Preceded in death by parents; son, Joseph; granddaughter, Megan; sisters, Margaret Dick and Jean Smith.

Private family graveside service.
