Gabriel Lee Korn, 46 of Lincoln, passed away April 8, 2018. He was born on February 20, 1972 in York, NE to Terry and Connie (Clark) Korn. Gabe graduated from Lincoln High and attended UNL, SCC and Joseph‘s College. Gabe was Email Campaign Manager with IQVIA.
Gabe loved his family, friends, movies, music, fantasy football, pro sports (go Steelers & Suns!), Halloween and life. He was widely known for his costume designs of the rich, famous and not so famous, including a “best costume” award as Pee-Wee Herman. He loved and lived for Halloween. An avid collector of music on vinyl and CD’s, Gabe loved attending concerts with family and friends.
Gabe leaves behind his daughters, Alexis Korn Araya (Josue Araya Ugalde), Jade Korn; son, Hayden Korn; granddaughters, Maria and Bellamy Araya Korn; parents, Connie and Bob Bergman; sister, Sarah (Paul) Kemp; sisters Crystal Korn and Chantelle Korn-Kempinski; grandmother, Nettie Clark; nieces, Brianna and Ashley Korn, Hazel and Violet Kemp, Hannah and Abbie Korn; nephew Jake Korn; and his beloved dog, Tanner. Gabe also leaves behind cousins, aunts and uncles, loving family, and many very special friends including his best friends, Robert Damian and Tim Sandberg. He was preceded in death by father,Terry; brother, Adam; grandmother, Glenna Heath; grandfather, Warren Clark; grandparents, Janet and Elmer Bergman; uncle, Randy; cousins, Andrea, John and Danny Bergman.
Gaberfest, The Celebration of a Lifetime, will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive (40th & Yankee Hill Rd.)
