Dorothy Belle (Lunan) Launer, 99, was received by Jesus into heaven Jan. 15, 2018. Before moving to Lincoln, Dottie was a long time resident of Fremont. She was married to Milt Launer for nearly 72 years.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Groothuis; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Judy Klare and Magdalene French, brother-in-law Carl Launer; nieces and nephews.
Dottie was a graduate of Tarkio College, Tarkio, MO; a high school music teacher; a piano teacher, an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont; china painter; beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 S. 33rd, Lincoln. Visitation one hour prior to service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lincoln; Trinity Lutheran Church Fremont, or Orphan Grain Train.
