David Lee Hermance, 76, of Lincoln passed away, June 12, 2018. He was born September 25, 1941, in Lincoln to Earl and Ruby (Garcia) Hermance; David worked for many years as a machinist with the Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, animals, children and Husker Football. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. David had a great eye for Antiques; spending much time Antiquing.
He is survived by wife of nearly 55 years, Donna; Daughter, Debra (Tom) Davis, Lincoln; son, David Robert (Marisa) Hermance, Omaha; Daughter Darla (Tim) Zeisset, Portland, OR; Grandchildren, Danial and Madison Davis, Otto Zeisset and David Austin Hermance; Brother Larry (Joann) Hermance, AZ; Sisters, Rita (Gary) McDonald, Sacramento, CA and Vicki (Mick) Hadley, Lincoln; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Celebration of David’s Life will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln NE, marking the 55th Wedding Anniversary of Donna and David.
Memorials may be given to the family for a future designation.
No visitation/Cremation.
