Cory Wayne Busboom, 44, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1974 in Beatrice to Wayne and Patti (DeBuhr) Busboom. Cory attended school in Filley, NE. Married to Karen Collins on November 22, 1997. He enjoyed music of all kinds, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends. An avid fan of all Nebraska sports.
Left behind are his wife, Karen; parents, Wayne and Patti Busboom, of Beatrice; sisters, Erica (Nate) Johnson and Tammy (Matt) Newill, all of Fremont; nieces, Callie Johnson and Hailey and Ava Newill; grandparents, Marie and Ervin Buhr, of Adams; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Donald DeBuhr, Theodore and Irene Busboom; and a niece, Taylor Kleier.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday (3-12-18) Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Rd. The family requests everyone attending please wear Husker red.

Visitation: Family will greet friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Roper and Sons, 4300 O Street and one hour prior to service time at the church. Prior cremation has taken place.
