Resided in Lincoln, NE

Cindi McNair

Cindi McNair, 54, passed peacefully away to heaven after living with multiple myeloma for over 12 years. She treated each day as a gift and was a gift to all who knew her.

An advocate for research and clinical trials, Cindi used her cancer journey to help others. In 2016, she climbed Machu Picchu in Peru with a team of 20 people to help raise funds and awareness for multiple myeloma. She offered hope to others across the country by connecting with those recently diagnosed through the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. As a wish granter for Make-A-Wish, she would light up when talking about the trips she helped facilitate for children and their families.

A 20-year veteran in the senior-living community industry, Cindi was most recently the Executive Director of Clark Jeary in Lincoln. Always focusing on the relationships, Cindi was surrounded by seniors who looked to her for a daily smile and a dose of inspiration. They became her extended family.

A member of Southwood Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Cindi held various Care Ministry leadership positions, traveled on mission trips to Honduras and was a devotional writer. Her strong faith was an example to all.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Mike McNair; parents, Marge & Richard Bolster; brother, Steve Bolster; sister-in-law, Lauri Bolster; nieces, Madi Baer & Rylee Bolster.

A celebration of life service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, at Southwood Lutheran Church, 4301 Wilderness Hills Blvd., Lincoln, NE 68516. Cremation, no visitation.

Memorial contributions can be made to Southwood Lutheran Church or Make-A-Wish.
