Cheryl Ann Selvage, 60, of Lincoln, passed away February 8, 2018. She was born May 15, 1957 in Riverside, CA, to Richard and Grace (Patrick) Francis. She grew up in California where she met her husband Terry. They moved in 1994 to Hastings, NE. Where in 1998, the two of them, attended The Salvation Army College for Officers training, and were commissioned as Officers in May of 2000. They were stationed in Chicago, IL, Kansas City, KS, Hibbing, MN, Jefferson City, MO, and Jacksonville, IL. She had a love of helping families and children in need. She currently worked for DSN as a caretaker. She enjoyed scrapbooking, taking pictures, playing games with her family, and helping people.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; children Richard (Melinda)Francis, Hastings, NE; Christopher (Jennifer) Selvage, of Lemoore, CA; Angela Selvage , and Jonathan (Nancy) Selvage, of Lincoln, NE; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother and sisters, Sandra Cook, Susan De Jonckheere, Debra Atlas, Darlene Cervantes of Riverside, CA. She is preceded in death by her father.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday (2/16) at The Salvation Army, 2625 Potter Street, Lincoln, NE, 68503.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
