Graduate of Lincoln High School (1940), attended Union College, received his Bachelor of Science degree and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska (1947). Dr. Reinmuth began his dental practice in York, NE before relocating to Lincoln, NE where he practiced for 63 years. “In retrospect, it seems so short as does all of life” he was quoted as saying, “I loved what I did and would have continued to practice dentistry if age would not have been a factor”.

He served as president of the Southeast Lincoln Lions Club and was also a member of the Lancaster County Health Board, College View Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Sesostris Shrine, American Legion, Elks, Knights of Pythias, and the NE Alumni Association.

He attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church at which he made the pulpit banners still in use today for the new church. He was a pilot who built and flew his own airplane, fabricating most of the parts himself. In retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and was proficient in cabinet construction. He designed and created numerous clocks and other wood items.

Family members include his sons, James (Beverly) Reinmuth of Palm Springs, CA, Craig (Donna) Reinmuth of Oskaloosa, KS; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and best friend & loving companion, Judy Raycraft of Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by parents, wife Ruth, and brother Hollis.
