Camden Logan Ireland

Camden Logan Ireland, 22, of Lincoln, passed away (8/4/17). Born (12/9/1994) in Maryville, MO to Logan and Janis (Howard) Ireland. Employed with DaVinci’s in Lincoln. He was a very outgoing kid, participating in several sports and activities. He attended Lincoln East High School through his sophomore year and graduated from Rock Port, Missouri High School with the class of 2013. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Family members include mother, Janis Ireland (Doug DeBoer) of Lincoln; father, Logan (Pam) Ireland of Omaha; sister’s Jessica Ireland (Ryan Burrows) and Ashley (David) Hager, both of Lincoln; nephews, Kael and Luca; grandparents, Thelma Howard, of Hamburg, IA; Linda Clark, Rea, MO; Don (Margaret) Ireland, of Rock Port, MO; numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. He will be missed by many.

Funeral Service to be held, 11:00 a.m. Thursday (8/10/17) Eastridge Presbyterian Church, 1135 Eastridge Dr., Lincoln. Pastor Thomas Dummermuth officiating.

Memorials to the Epileptic Foundation.

Visitation with family, on Wednesday, (8/9) from 3-8 p.m., at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

I went to elementary and middle school with Camden. He was one of those kids who was strangely mature for his age, and when other boys were making fun of me for being a car accident earlier that morning (actually, very weird) he would be the one to tell them “That’s not cool, you should stop.” He didn’t join in on picking on kids, even if they were easy to make fun of, because he held himself to a higher standard. Of the years we knew each other I only have positive things to say. Looking him up 15+ years later I’d hoped to reconnect, see how he’s doing. I have no clue why God took him so young, and that will likely bother me forever, but I hope his family knows he isn’t forgotten, even by the random classmate from his elementary/middle school.
