Blayne Patrick Rezac

Blayne Patrick Rezac, 16, Lincoln, passed away August 30, 2017. Born March 20. 2001 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Russell Rezac and DeeAnn (Isaacson) Candler. Junior at North Star High School and the Career Academy at SCC. Worked at John Breslow Ice Hockey Center. Member of Christ Place Church, St. Vitus Parish in Touhy, NE, Lincoln Ice Hockey Association (LIHA), and was involved in theatre at North Star. Blayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, spending time in the country, and at the farm, cruising ‘O’ Street, being on the ice and giving his little brother a hard time.

Family members include his parents, DeeAnn (J-Avery) Candler and Russell Rezac; sisters and brothers, Mindy (Jaron) Bailey, Lindsay Nicewonger, Audrey Rezac, Berkley Barrett and Jaxyn Barrett; niece, Macie Jae Nicewonger; nephews, Marcus Ehlers and Landon Bailey; grandmothers, Marilyn Barnes, Marjean Candler and Jan Isaacson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, Valerian and Janet Rezac, Earl Candler, Orville Barnes, Sr., and Dennis Isaacson, Sr.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday (9-4-17) Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street and 5-7 p.m. at St. Vitus Parish in Touhy followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (9-5-17) Christ Place Church, 1111 Old Cheney Rd.
