Alice Fisher, 80, of Lincoln passed away March 13, 2018, in Lincoln. Born on September 3, 1937 in Commerce, TX to Marion and Mary (Giddons) DeJernett. She was involved in P.E.O., serving as Past Nebraska State President, and Eastern Star throughout her life. Alice was affiliated with the Women’s Auxiliary in Chadron, NE and the Assistance League in Georgetown, TX. She very much enjoyed time spent with family and friends, playing bridge, golfing, going on walks and Nebraska Football.
Family members include: son Dan Fisher, Edgar, NE; daughters Catie (John) Limbach, Lincoln and Amy Fisher King, Bend, OR; grandchildren, Whitney Limbach, Jocelyn Houston, and Alyssa Fisher; great-grandchildren Parker and Aubrey Houston; brother Doug (Joan) Jennings, MO; sister in laws Dee Slepicka and Darcy Davis; Preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Dan.
Memorial Service to be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Roper and Sons Funeral Home South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr. (40th and Yankee Hill). No viewing/Cremation. Private family interment, Tobias, NE.
